Gorman Richardson Lewis Architects designed a new 350,000 SF office building for Liberty Mutual Insurance Group in Dover, NH. Positioned to take advantage of Cocheco River views, the LEED Gold Certified building makes use of high-efficiency glazing, a white roof, and locally manufactured materials as well as interior day-lighting controls and “dark sky” compliant exterior lighting.

The building’s office spaces were designed with flexibility in mind, utilizing column-free interior spaces and a raised access floor system. A full-service cafeteria with seating for up to 430 has been incorporated on the main level with access to a south-facing patio area. The dining area can accommodate media presentations for up to 120 in separate rooms as well a “town meeting” style gatherings for up to 600.
