Bishop Guertin High school

Nashua, NH

Bishop Guertin High School was constructed in 1963-64 in Nashua, New Hampshire. The building represents a well-preserved example of 1960’s architecture with the choice of brick, window placement and style, the use of glass block, and the choice of building proportions.

GRLA conducted a Facilities Condition Assessment that focused on the interior architecture of the building, including walls, ceilings, flooring, doors, windows/glazing, casework/furnishings, miscellaneous equipment, mechanical-electrical- plumbing finish components and fixtures, as well as code issues regarding building code and accessibility code. The GRLA Building Envelope team also observed the condition of the exterior building envelope including roofing, wall cladding, windows, doors and foundation systems. GRLA prepared a report summarizing the observations regarding the configuration and condition of the interior architecture of the building as well as detailed commentary and recommended actions to be taken.
