Scope:

Newly constructed three-story building requiring window testing during construction to ensure that windows were installed properly and are without air leakage and water infiltration.

Services:

Window testing included a stand-alone mock-up as well as an in-building mock-up. Window testing were in accordance with the following standards:

• ASTM E783: Standard Test Method for Field Measurement of Air Leakage Through Installed Exterior Windows and Doors

• AAMA 501.2: Quality Assurance and Diagnostic Water Leakage Field Check of Installed Storefronts, Curtain Walls, and Sloped Glazing Systems
