Pleasant Street Christian Reformed Church

Pleasant Street Christian Reformed Church located in Whitinsville, Massachusetts was built in 1929 and completed a building addition in 1996. GRLA conducted a capital needs assessment of the building envelope that was experiencing water penetration in certain areas.  

The goal of the assessment was to determine the vulnerable areas and prepare an appropriate plan to repair the deteriorated conditions. GRLA recommended the repairs be conducted in three phases. The first phase was localized at the 1929 building entrance – the south elevation and two towers. The project consisted primarily of brick masonry rebuild/crack repair, lintel replacement and reflashing, window paint and sealant, and re-roofing.
