Scope:
The Stoneham Town Hall was experiencing leaks as the existing tar and gravel roof was brittle, cracking and at the end of its lifespan. There were also low flashing heights at doors and louvers. We were presented with a short timeline to complete the project for design, bidding, awarding the project, and procuring material due to funding requirements.
Services:
Removal and replacement of existing roof system to the structural deck
Add new insulation and coverboard to achieve R-30 rating
Install new two-ply SBS Modified Bitumen roof system
Install new perimeter blocking and ANSI/SPRI ES-1 rated flashless edge metal system
Provide 30-yr Edge to Edge No Dollar Limit Warranty
Coordinated promptly with general contractor on unforeseen deck repairs from improper installation of the existing roof system
