Scope:

The Truman Apartments is a 59-unit federally-assisted senior housing high-rise building that was undergoing a complete renovation including new aluminum windows. Window testing was required to ensure that allowable air infiltration did not exceed limits and that there was no water leakage into the interior surface of the windows.

Testing was conducted in accordance with the following:

• ASTM E783: Standard Test Method for Field Measurement of Air Leakage Through Installed Exterior Windows and Doors

• ASTM E1105: Standard Test Method for Field Determination of Water Penetration of Installed Exterior Windows, Skylights, Doors, and Curtain Walls, by Uniform or Cyclic Static Air Pressure Difference
